The SSC Ultimate Aero II is now the world’s fatest production car. This automobile can reach speeds of 275 miles per hour, beating the previous record holder, Bugatti’s Veyron.
“Its wheels are the world’s first one-piece carbon-fiber units and tip the scale at just under 13 pounds. The car weighs about 2,600 pounds. There’s carbon-fiber all over the Ultimate Aero II, with the exception of some aluminum bracing for added safety in the event of a crash. Shelby SuperCars expected to sell it next year for $970,000.
