I just got an exclusive peek at the future of fashion and the label is called FAT KYDS!. I recently got invited to talk to the great people at FAT KYDS and this is what they had to say:
We are a UK based fashion label called FAT Kyds and our aim is to blur the lines between Fashion, Music and Art.
We have gone to great lengths to maintain an exclusiveness and brand identity that I think you guys will be able to see.
We are a newly established UK label, and we do T-shirts. We have an art house premise whereby we have renowned artists be our artiste in residence where they, whilst under the FAT Kyds roof, will design limited edition series of art works.
Our Series One release has been designed by Athier, who up until very recently was the artist in residence at the British museum.
FAT Kyds will only produce 250 T-shirts of each design.
Number 1-25 (the Connoisseur edition) t shirts are specialised and individual from the 25-250 numbers. Each one of the 25 will come with an A3 signed canvas print from the artist themselves. The Connoisseur edition will also include our limited edition white eco bags.
Each t-shirt will be numbered and come with a signed certificate from the artist.
Each T shirt comes packaged in a re-usable cotton eco bag with an original screen print design.
We are using eco friendly water paint printing method that produces excellent print results with minimal environmental impact.
We are one of the very rare brands that manufacture, print and design all our t shirts all in the UK.
We are the first label ever to be in collaboration with the pioneering Nordoff Robbins music therapy charity whereby a portion of all our sales goes towards them. Currently our promo tees are given to all their ambassadors and at all their events.
I am very impressed and can't wait for the great tjings that Fat Kyds have in store.
