Everyone remembers Alexander McQueen for his bold statement pieces, but we forget that he could also do constraint and refinement as well, as these black lace-ups show. A very restrained piece by the late master, it’s a traditional oxford shoe with some subtle stitching on the uppers to give it a small touch of character. A beautiful offering by McQueen.
